| Chapter Focus |
The Chapter is focused on the Hellenic National Defence General
Staff, Hellenic Armed Forces General Staffs and Commands,
Ministries of Defence - Public Order - Foreign Affairs -
Communications and Infrastructure, Defence Industry,
communication and IT companies, and academic and scientific
organisations. The Chapter holds monthly dinners with invited
speakers from industry, the armed forces and academia,
participates in TechNet Europe, and hosts conferences on various
topics.
This year the chapter successfully organized educational seminar
on ¿Telecommunications and Computer Networks.¿ The training was
held at the facilities of the Hellenic Air Force¿s 128 Training
Group for Communications and Electronics in Kavouri, Athens.
The chapter is planning to continue the organisation of this and
similar training seminars to other branches and locations in the
future.
The chapter also participated with an exhibition both and speaker
in the 2012 International Data Links Symposium, held in Athens
(16-19 October 2012). |
