| Current Recurring Activities |
| We had a fair Chapter activity period with attendance to our meetings somewhat lower (35 versus 40) on average than the previous fiscal period. This was mainly due to one poorly attended meeting coinciding with a regional holiday period. Our annual meeting and ladies night in December 2007 was very well attended but I did not take the spouses/partners into account for the attendance record. The attendance number may also have been distorted somewhat by our annual joint meeting with the C2 Technology Platform of the Netherlands Defense Manufacturers Association (NIDV) with which we have an overlapping membership roster.
The special event is our annual presence at the Netherlands Defense Manufacturers Association (NIDV) Symposium and Exhibition aimed at promoting our chapter and growing/sustaining our membership. The floor space is a freebee from the organizers.
Our financial situation is sufficiently healthy to undertake unsponsored activities where needed. |
