| Chapter Focus |
The Turkiye Chapter organizes events to bring
representatives of the military, government, academia,
industry and IT companies
working in the fields of defense, C4ISR, EW, homeland
security together to meet, discuss and exchange knowledge.
The following are all invited to chapter events: Turkish
Armed Forces Commands, Ministry of National Defense,
Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry
of Communications, Undersecretariat for
Defense Industries, Academic and Scientific
organizations, Turkish Defense and Aeropspace Industry
Manufacturers
Association, Defense Industry and IT Companies. Our Chapter
also
focuses on providing scholarships support for some
university students, and participates in the STEM program.
The Chapter also supports and actively participates in
several seminars and
exhibitions in Turkiye. The Chapter Board Members meet on a
monthly basis, and occasionally visit the VIP offices at the
Turkish General Staff,
the Ministry of National Defense, Undersecretariat for
Defense Industries, Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, Defense
and Aerospace Industry
Manufactures Association, universities and some IT companies
to inform them about AFCEA activities and to encourage them
to become a member of AFCEA. |
