| Chapter Focus |
The Sofia Chapter is focused equally on government and industry-based members. The Chapter organizes seminars, conferences and experts'discussions on important current security issues, including government policy on systems and technologies in the field of CIS.
During the reporting period chapter seminars and conferences were focused on informing and implementation of NATO Smart Defense concept in Modernization of Weapons, Techniques, Information and Communication Technologies for Security and Defense; Priority Projects of the Ministry of Interior for Security and Shengen border control requirements. The concept of covering different aspects of one topic via presentations of Bulgarian and foreign companies of complex solutions has increased the interst of audience. Additional meetings are held by the Chapter Board at ministries, government structures and companies. |
