Navy Modifies Friend or Foe Identification Contract for Multiple Governments

BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Incorporated, Greenlawn, New York, is being awarded a $25 million contract modification to exercise an option for the procurement and integration of various CXP identification friend or foe hardware for the U.S. Navy, Army, and Air Force; and the governments of Canada, Taiwan, and Saudi Arabia. Hardware being procured includes common digital transponders, mounts, receivers and transmitters, signal processors, power supplies, battery packs, and Mode 5 modification kits. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
