Northrop to Retrofit Global Hawk

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., San Diego, California, has been awarded a $30,257,077 modification (P00013) to previously awarded contract FA8620-13-C-3018 for Global Hawk Block Lot 11 production. Contractor will provide for the retrofit of eight Block 30I aircraft to Block 30M capable aircraft. Work will be performed at San Diego, California, and is expected to be complete by December 30, 2017. Fiscal 2014 and 2015 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $29,827,733 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Global Hawk Division, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
