Alion to Provide Persistent Communications

Alion Science and Technology Corporation, McLean, Virginia, has been awarded a $15,214,159 delivery order (0074) to previously awarded contract FA4600-06-D-0003 for advanced processes for persistent communications. Contractor will develop solutions to help protect the systems from environmental, chemical and biological hazards in theater. Work will be performed at Warner Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, and is expected to be completed by December 29, 2016. Fiscal 2013 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $904,000 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Installation Contracting Agency, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, is the contracting activity (FA4600-06-D-0003).
