Telephonics to Provide Identification Friend or Foe Technology

Telephonics Corporation, Farmingdale, New York, has been awarded a $14,845,476 firm-fixed price, cost-reimbursement contract for Mark XII/A All-Mode Interrogator Systems. Contractor will provide all materials and labor in order to manufacture and install 13 Mark XII/A All-Mode Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Interrogator Systems for Sweden's Long Range Air Defense Chain. It also includes seven Mark XII/A All-Mode IFF Interrogator Systems for Swedish Navy's Visby Class Corvettes in accordance with Department of Defense Air Traffic Control Radar Beacon System Identification Friend or Foe, Mark XII/XIIA System (AIMS) Standards. Work will be performed in Farmingdale, New York, and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2017. This contract involves foreign military sales. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. The Air Force Sustainment Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (FA8501-14-C-0033).
