Global Technical Systems to Produce Common Processing System

Global Technical Systems Inc., Virginia Beach, Virginia, is being awarded an $84,900,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for production of the Common Processing System (CPS), spares and associated engineering services. The CPS is a computer processing system based on an open architecture design. CPS consists of the CPS enclosure assembly and three subsystems: the processing subsystem, the storage/extraction subsystem, and the input/output subsystem. It is intended to support the computer requirements of various Navy combat systems. This contract will provide for production, testing and delivery of CPS (both water cooled and air cooled), spares, and associated engineering services. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity (N00024-14-D-5213).

Global Technical Systems Awarded Navy Common Processing System Contract

Management Services Group Incorporated, doing business as Global Technical Systems, is being awarded a $95 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the U.S. Navy's new Common Processing System (CPS). The contract provides for the design, development, qualification and production of a commercial off-the-shelf-based, Grade-A shock-qualified processing system in support of Navy platforms. Efforts may include development of logistics support products, spares and support services.
