Three Firms Awarded Force Protection Contracts

SERCO, Reston, Va., is being awarded a potential $46,041,918 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide life cycle sustainment, integration, acquisition and technical support for anti-terrorism/force protection Naval Electronic Surveillance Systems to Department of Defense agencies and other government activities as required. This is one of three contracts awarded: each awardee (CACI, N66001-14-D-0052, $42,382,869; Honeywell, N66001-14-D-0053, $43,196,813) will have the opportunity to compete for task orders during the ordering period. This three-year contract includes two, one-year option periods which, if exercised, would bring the potential ceiling value of this award to an estimated $77,641,933. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-13-D-0054).

U.S. Navy Awards Nearly $145 Million in Command Center Support Funds

Centurum Information Technology Incorporated, Marlton, New Jersey; L-3 Services Incorporated, doing business as C2S2, Mount Laurel, New Jersey; Lockheed Martin Corporation, Herndon, Virginia; M.C. Dean Incorporated, Dulles, Virginia; QinetiQ North America Incorporated, doing business as Services and Solutions Group (S&S), Fairfax, Virginia; Science Applications International, doing business as SAIC, McLean, Virginia; SERCO Incorporated, Reston, Virginia; and Systems Research & Applications Corporation, doing business as SRA, Fairfax, Virginia, are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee with firm-fixed-price provisions, multiple award contract for the procurement of integrated command and control engineering and technical support services for command centers. The services required include program management, technical engineering support, integrated logistics support, configuration and data management support, direct customer support, and security engineering support. These contracts include options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of these contracts to an estimated $144.9 million. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, South Carollina, is the contracting activity.

Serco to Support Active Army Strength Forecaster System

Serco Incorporated has announced that the company has been awarded a potential $9 million contract to perform the full range of technical support services for sustainment and operations of the Active Army Strength Forecaster (A2SF) System. The A2SF System provides the U.S. Army with a seven-year strength forecast every month, reflecting the trends of soldiers as the political and military climate changes with respect to wartime requirements, budget constraints, and military compensation entitlements. These forecasts support the seven-year budget process, policy decisions by senior leadership, congressional inquiries, and personnel management decisions. Serco will use algorithms and forecasting models in order to provide the Army with the accurate forecasting information, as well as delivering operations and maintenance support, data conversion, information assurance and security and training solutions to support the A2SF System.

 

 

Three Firms Receive Contracts for Navy Ordnance Information System

Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Serco Incorporated and CACI Incorporated recently received contracts for program management and technical support services for the Naval Operational Logistics support Center's Ordnance Information System, which is used to track Navy ordnance worldwide. CSC's contract is valued at a potential $49 million, Serco's $44 million and CACI's $36 million. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office, is the contracting activity.

Serco Wins Navy Hazardous Material Program Logistics Support Contract

Serco Inc., has won an $84 million contract with the U.S. Navy's Commander, Fleet and Industrial Supply Centers to assist with the Consolidated Hazardous Material Reutilization and Inventory Management Program. The company will provide logistical support for procurement, management, issuance and disposal of HAZMAT products and chemicals for the Hazardous Material Control and Management Program.

Serco Wins Army Personnel and Family Support Contract
