Aligning with Like Organizations by ArkLaTex Chapter

Our AFCEA ArkLaTex chapter's VP for Publicity, Scott Vines has even led the ArkLaTex chapters involvement in several other local organizations designed to support/advance technology related growth in our area like TechX20 and TechRouler. Aligning with like organizations like Col Simcox mentioned like the Shreveport/Bossier City Chamber of Commerce's Young Professional Initiative (YPI), TechX20, TechRouler and organizational venues like CoHabitat have been the secret sauce of our success locally. Our membership has directly increased because of these associations and they have been a younger crowd which is very exciting

Expand Your Board of Directors by Atlanta Chapter

To encourage active participation in our chapter, the Atlanta chapter encourages members interested in becoming more active in our chapter to join our board of directors. Currently our board of directors includes 38 members, almost 10 percent of our membership. This provides fresh ideas to our chapter leadership, volunteers to lead or assist in various events and builds our core of active members. In addition, these members also get the added benefit of a chapter position, which earns them praise from their employers and good resume material too. It¿s a win-win for all.
