AFCEA Offers Free Small Business Workshop

A free workshop will be offered in February to help small businesses maximize the value of their AFCEA corporate membership. This pilot AFCEA Professional Development Center course is a joint effort of AFCEA’s Educational Foundation, Small Business Committee and Membership staff. It takes place at 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2009, at AFCEA International Headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia

Attendees of the course will have the opportunity to meet AFCEA membership staff and get full details on how to leverage corporate membership benefits for success. Diane Dellen, manager, Corporate Member Programs, will lead the program. Curt Adams, director, Member and Chapter Services, and Tammy Goehring, manager, Small Business Programs, also will be there to help field questions. Although content will be tailored for small businesses, this session will be helpful to all levels of AFCEA corporate members and those considering membership. All are welcome to attend this free course.

Information on registering for the Fairfax course can be found on AFCEA’s Small Business Web site. Contact Tammy Goehring via e-mail or at (703) 631-6119 with any questions on this course or general questions on AFCEA’s Small Business Program.
