Continuity of Officers by Pocono Mountains Chapter

New ideas, new energies, and new initiatives can come from changeover in the officers (Executive Committee) of the chapter. Alternatively, re-learning old lessons, loss of good ideas, initiatives, and programs can also be associated with changeover in officers. The balance that is needed can be achieved by maintaining continuity in the officers (Executive Committee) of the chapter. Therefore, not more than half (i.e. majority) of the chapter's officers (Executive Committee) should be replaced in a singular year.

Use of Automated Membership Lists by Alaska Chapter

We migrated our website and membership lists from a manual process, using Gmail, to an automated method, using Mail Chimp. This system builds the lists, allowing us to get out of the business of managing mailing lists ourselves, saving hours of work every year. This also means members and those wanting to be on our mailing list can now add or remove themselves without our involvement, using unsubscribe links. This has helped us develop our lists, keep them private and protected from other users, and ensured we reach the maximum number of members.
