U.S. Air Force Recognizes Base Leaders |
At the March meeting, the U.S. Air Force presented annual awards recognizing outstanding Air Force personnel working in the fields of communications and information (C&I) at Patrick Air Force Base. Lou Linden, chapter president, and Col. Jay Bruhl, USAF, director of logistics and systems, Armed Forces Technical Applications Center (AFTAC), assisted Col. Denette Sleeth, USAF, commander, 45th Operations Group, in delivering honors for five winning individuals and three winning teams. Jeff Jennings AFTAC, also won the award at higher command level. The 45th Space Wing Information Assurance element won the Air Force Outstanding Assurance team of the year award, and the 45th Space Communications Squadron Information Dominance team received the Gen. Edwin W. Rawlings team award. The 45th Space Communications Squadron also won the Air Force C&I Lt. Gen. Harold W. Grant Award for the second year in a row. |
