Digital TV and Telecommunications Course Held |
The chapter sponsored a Professional Development Course titled "Digital TV and Telecommunications" in December that took place at Military Circle in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Coordinators Engineer Luis Valle and Engineer Claudia Cardama presented the distinguished speakers, who presented a multidisciplinary field of information and exchange on digital TV, telecommunications and digital cinema, and the roles to be fulfilled by the state enterprises and cooperatives. The main topics presented included: new TV channels license and media law; digital interactive TV; IPTV services new cooperative; spectrum availability; telecommunications system for the armed forces; and Security and Police. There were 20 speakers and 60 attendees. |
