Course Covers Digital TV and Telecommunications

The chapter sponsored the professional development course "Digital TV and Telecommunications" in December at Military Circle in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Engineers Luis Valle and Claudia Cardama coordinated distinguished speakers who exchanged views and experiences on the roles to be fulfilled by the state, companies, institutions and the university in the operation of new mobile services and digital TV platforms. Among the topics presented were "Spectrum Auction for 3G and 4G"; "Service Advanced 4G Mobile Communications (SCMA)"; "Regulation Mobile Virtual Network Operator OMV"; "National Plan for Digital Communication Services"; "National Standard for Digital Terrestrial TV Service Open"; "Argentina Connected"; "Networks Provincial"; "Over-the-Top OTT"; and "Digital Cinema." The event attracted 20 speakers and 55 attendees.
