ARGENTINA CHAPTER Chapter • Sep 17, 2009

This year the chapter received a chapter initiatives grant from the AFCEA International Educational Foundation. The grant provided funds for a science fair for students from military high schools. Students submitted projects that focus on command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) themes, including electronics and robotics. Eight cadets participated in the science fair, held at the Army Technical College in September. Projects included "Marker Shooting Computer-Controlled Robotic," "Multimedia Educational Platform," "Space Technology for Agricultural Products" and "Digital Image Processing." The chapter will announce the winner after all of the projects have been evaluated.
