In July, the chapter hosted an F-15 flight simulator tour at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. Technical Sgt. Shanell Jones, USAF, chapter enlisted liaison committee member, organized the event for local chapter members and U.S. Air Force personnel. She said, "Far too often, what we're in need of is right under our nose. If we would just do a little more networking while we're carrying out Air Force business, we could further improve our country and way of life." Master Sgt. Keith Jordan, USAF, also provided a brief question-and-answer session on the benefits and costs of AFCEA members, which resulted in six new members.
