The chapter held a one-day event in October. The theme was "Legal Aspects of Telecommunications in Argentina." Robert Mayer, chapter member, coordinated the event, which drew 20 attendees. The symposium included presentations about the national and regional regulations for telecommunications as well as a discussion on the new law on audiovisual media services.
