The chapter elected its new board of directors for 2008-2009 during the July meeting. The new members will continue to focus on the chapter's successful events, including the monthly luncheon series, seasonal executive-level events, the scholarship program and fundraisers. The new members include Sonya Cork; Fred Justice; Gene Kakalec; Richard Mayo; Maj. Gen. Dennis Moran, USA (Ret.); Joseph Nowland; Brian Roach; David Romola; and Deborah Werner. The board of directors is comprised of senior industry leaders who have extensive experience in the defense community, noted Warren Suss, chapter president. 'We rely on these individuals to not only provide oversight to the chapter but also to lead the various committees we have in place. We look forward to welcoming the new members to the chapter.'
