AFCEA SCHOLARSHIPS The AFCEA Educational Foundation scholarship criteria stated below are in effect for the 2012-2013 school year. There are six general categories of scholarship assistance available for undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled full time at four-year colleges or universities in the U.S. Please read the information listed below to determine eligibility based on individual qualifications and program. Please apply for one scholarship only. U.S. military veterans or active-duty personnel only are eligible to apply as freshmen; all other applicants must be college sophomores or juniors at the time of application -- minimum second-year college students ONLY please. Graduate students must be currently enrolled in at least two semester-equivalent classes at an accredited U.S. college or university. A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent) is required. Note: high school students are not eligible to apply.
SCHOLARSHIPS THROUGH AFCEA CHAPTERS Located around the world, many of AFCEA’s 120 chapters also provide scholarships, grants and tuition assistance for aspiring engineers, technicians, programmers, military personnel and government officials. Financial assistance is made available for students living or attending school within each chapter's local community. AFCEA INDIVIDUAL AND CHAPTER AWARDS Through its annual awards program, AFCEA International and the AFCEA Educational Foundation recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals in the communications, electronics, intelligence and information technology disciplines. In addition, Chapters are recognized for outstanding support to the Association.
