Central Florida Chapter |
Description: |
Mr. Joshua Jackson, the USSF Chief Engineer for
the Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS) Program
Management Office, will be our guest speaker at
the AFCEA Space Coast Chapter meeting.
Within the Program Executive Office for Assured
Access to Space (AATS), the LTRS uses an
integrated system of radars, optical, and
telemetry systems to take measurements of the
world in and around the Eastern Range
(Cape/Patrick, FL) and Western Range (Vandenburg,
CA) and the vehicles (Space Launch, Missile, and
Aeronautical Test) moving through them. These
measurements are processed and used to integrate
the activities of the range systems to provide
that data to decision-makers responsible for
public safety, range operations, risk analysis,
space launch vehicle reliability, mission success,
vehicle design, and process decisions. As the
Chief Engineer, Mr. Jackson owns the PMO research
and development strategy, LTRS transformation,
system technical baseline, and system lifecycle
management.
Join us to hear his perspectives on the future of
eastern and western range transformation into
spaceports supporting future warfighting needs and
the rapidly growing commercial launch cadence.
Come be a part of this fun event and get a chance
to join the organization, meet members, and be a
part of building AFCEA on the Space Coast. There
will be AFCEA membership giveaways as well as a
raffle!
