The scholarship started my career by allowing me to do an internship at Raytheon IDS after high school. After attending MIT, I co-founded Markforged, an additive manufacturing company that designs, develops and manufactures industrial 3D printers, software and materials.

The second AFCEA Educational Foundation Golf Tournament was a success! On August 5, 2024, 140 golfers hit the links at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia to raise money for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) scholarships and teacher grants. The tournament, sponsored by 24 companies, brought in more than $40,000 as golfers competed for bragging rights and prizes, all while raising money for AFCEA’s Educational Foundation programs, which focus on supporting the cyber, defense, homeland security and intelligence communities. Thank you to all our sponsors and participants for making this such a great event!
