Events for Small Business
Each AFCEA corporate member can describe its organization and its products and services in the AFCEA online Corporate Directory. These listings help customers and partners to find out more about a company’s unique offerings. Companies can include contract-building information such as small business classification, NAICS industry codes, contract vehicles and current clients.
AFCEA Small Business programs bring small, medium and large organizations together to share insights and challenges, providing an environment to foster relationships and partnerships. We provide collaborative opportunities for our small business members to compete in the federal marketplace. AFCEA also offers increased access to government agencies for development of customer relationships, information gathering and situational awareness.
The AFCEA Small Business program organizes educational and interactive events designed specifically for small businesses to help members strengthen and grow their companies. Many of the chapters of AFCEA also have special events and programs focused on small business needs.
AFCEA offers small business corporate members personal attention and discounts to increase market visibility and to become more business savvy in the federal contracting process.
The AFCEA Small Business of the Year, the AFCEA Small Business Person of the Year (Industry and Government) and Small Business Advocate awards recognize the achievements of the talented and innovative AFCEA Small Business community.

AFCEA International hosts a variety of events with content designed specifically for our small business members. Matchmaking with government primes, networking receptions and symposia are just a few examples of our events that take place as standalone virtual events, or at AFCEA Headquarters, or in conjunction with other AFCEA International events.

Often times, our large events have small business registration rates available to members only; small business registrants must be employed by a company with 49 or fewer employees to qualify for this rate.
Small businesses can sometimes exhibit at AFCEA International events at the small business rate.
