resulting from trauma, which is a serious social
problem in military and civilian life, it is
necessary for healthcare personnel to have
knowledge of trauma and resuscitation and to know
the principles of current medical approaches to be
applied to injured and traumatized patients. Early
life-saving interventions in trauma conditions,
damage control surgeries performed by front-line
surgical teams, and advances in medical evacuation
systems enable effective treatment and reduce
mortality rates. |
