| Description: |
AFCEA's Emerging Leaders (EL) community continues
to thrive through strong mentorship networks
across chapters worldwide. In this international
webinar, ELs from the Alamo, Bethesda, Bonn, and
Hawaii Chapters will share mentorship perspectives
shaped by their diverse missions and communities.
The discussion will highlight the vital role
mentorship plays within AFCEA and examine how the
association develops its next generation of
leaders, including the evolution of AFCEA
Mentoring Programs that connect young
professionals with senior leaders from the
military, industry, and academia. Panelists will
offer insights, lessons learned, and practical
strategies for sustaining a vibrant mentorship
culture that empowers members, strengthens
chapters, and supports the global AFCEA mission.
Drawing on personal experiences and successful
initiatives, panelists will spotlight programs
such as Alamo's Mentor-Protege Night, Bethesda's
Mentor Match Night, Bonn's Cross-Mentoring
program, and Hawaii's Executive Mentoring Event.
They will also highlight broader mentoring efforts
from the Northern Virginia and DC Chapters, as
well as AFCEA resources like the Disruptive by
Design podcast, providing attendees with a rich
set of examples and tools to inspire stronger
mentorship within their own chapters and careers. |
