The AFCEA International Scott-St. Louis Chapter is
excited to announce the 2026 AFCEA TechNet Mid-
America Conference is an in-person event! This two-
day program, taking place June 24-25, 2026, will
feature training opportunities, a career fair, and
an immersive exhibit hall chock full of information
about the latest Information Technology (IT) tools,
trends, and innovations. In addition, attendees can
take advantage of a variety of opportunities to
join in discussions and connect with peers.
Our conference theme, "Resilient Mobility: Securing
Global Logistics in an Age of Hybrid Threats",
reflects the reality that logistics is a contested
mission. Adversaries target the deployment and
distribution enterprise because it supports every
joint and coalition operation. They can disrupt
movement, deny access, corrupt data, or slow
decision cycles, so mobility success depends on
both physical execution and trusted digital
systems.
Scott Air Force Base sits at the center of that
mission. Scott AFB hosts teams responsible for
global mobility planning, command and control,
communications, and enterprise IT that connects the
force. The St. Louis region also includes key
partners that build and sustain capabilities that
enable movement, power projection, and readiness,
and when the mobility network is stressed, the
impact is felt across on-base operations and the
broader Midwest logistics and transportation
ecosystem.
Hybrid threats increase the risk by blending cyber
attacks, information operations, insider risk,
supply chain disruption, and pressure on critical
infrastructure. Threat actors probe the seams
between bases, carriers, networks, vendors, and
data sources, aiming to degrade mission systems,
manipulate logistics data, and disrupt
communications. Our conference theme aligns to what
the Scott AFB and St. Louis communities do best -
bringing together warfighters, enterprise IT,
cyber, engineering, industry, and academia to
strengthen resilience through redundancy,
visibility, secure interoperability, and rapid
recovery across the end to end chain.
