Schafer Receives Particle Analysis Funds from ISR Agency

Schafer Corporation, Chelmsford, Massachusetts, is being awarded an $8,156,018 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification for particle analysis services, non-personal services for the processing and analyzing of particle samples, for the purpose of nuclear test ban treaty verification for the Air Force Technical Applications Center in support of the U.S. Atomic Energy Detection System. This action is the exercise of the first contract option period. U.S. Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.
