SIGNAL Kids

SIGNAL Kids

AFCEA's STEM Publication for Elementary Students

SIGNAL Kids is a magazine written by and for students ages 8-12, offering them career ideas, age-appropriate technology stories, games and fun facts with a focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The publication also features kid reporters who share their relatable vantage point with young readers. The publication is possible through the generosity of Chapter partners such as the Alamo Chapter Educational Foundation, Central Maryland Chapter, Lexington-Concord Chapter and Rocky Mountain Chapter, and corporate sponsors that have included CACI, Nexxis Solutions and Leidos.

There's nothing like a child's curiosity to spark a conversation about technology. SIGNAL Kid reporter Harper Link, 7, questions Justin Fanelli, acting CTO for the U.S. Navy, about the oh so many kinds of technology.
