AFCEA Europe coordinates European affairs with AFCEA Headquarters, helping to tailor the global AFCEA offering to the specific national and cultural environments across Europe. Vice versa, it introduces European views, as well as those consolidated by NATO and the European Union, into AFCEA International’s global mission.
The office can assist non-European members in making contacts within Europe by using the established chapter network. The office also answers European queries about AFCEA and its administration.
The European component of AFCEA comprises about 3,000 members and about 300 corporations. The members belong to 35 individual chapters in 21 different countries, conversing in 19 languages.
Europe Events
The European office hosts events each year at international venues. These events attract an audience from across Europe and the United States. The TechNet events ensure regular contact with NATO and EU by inviting civilian and military speakers from the Headquarters staff, strategic commanders and staff and supporting agencies.
The numerous events on chapter level and the interactions between chapters provide opportunities for contacts with national governments and for meetings with fellow members and interesting people.
The European office supports the European chapters with advice, connections, and speakers from NATO and the EU upon request.
