Gallium to Provide Shipboard Air Traffic Control Trainer System

Gallium Visual Systems, Damascus, Maryland, has announced that it was recently awarded a a $3 million contract for the delivery and integration of an embedded trainer for the U.S. Navy AN/TPX-42(V) identification friend or foe systems. The AN/TPX-42(V) provides the primary air traffic control capability in the carrier air traffic control centers and amphibious air traffic control centers aboard aircraft carriers and amphibious assault ships. The firm fixed price contract, competitively awarded by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, provides options for up to 50 production systems.
