Exelis to Provide Image Intensifier for Night Vision

Exelis Inc., Roanoke, Va., is being awarded a $10,985,800 firm-fixed-price contract for high-performance image intensifier tube assembly, 18mm micro-channel wafer (MX-10160 Series) and data. This equipment is for use by U.S. Special Operations Command in night vision devices. The U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity.
