U.S. Navy Purchases Transfer Switches for Ships and Submarines

Superior Electric, Farmington, Connecticut, is being awarded a $35,801,255 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the design and production of automatic bus transfer switches. Automatic bus transfer switches procured under this contract are intended for use on all Navy ship and submarine classes. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.
