Rockwell Collins to Provide Low-Frequency Receiver

Rockwell Collins Inc., Government Systems, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has been awarded a $46,654,122 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for B-2 Common Very Low Frequency Receiver Increment 1 engineering manufacturing development (EMD) effort. The EMD phase includes the modification, qualification, and testing of the system which consists primarily of an existing terminal/receiver design, an antenna, a Human Machine Interface display, power supply, and other ancillary equipment to enable receipt and display of emergency action messages, including a mission planning ground station. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8616-14-C-6061).
