Event Encourages Feedback on Better Buying Power and Acquisition Challenges

The inaugural Defense Acquisition Modernization Symposium, hosted by AFCEA International, highlights “Better Buying Power” as it applies to government, industry and academia. The event boasts leaders from the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition along with industry leaders to provide attendees with myriad solutions, updates and exchanges.

Frank Kendall, undersecretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics, is a keynote speaker and will address his better buying power approach to jostle solutions.
 
The format will include plenary speakers, panels, workshops and breakout sessions to meet the needs of all attendees. Workshop sessions will focus on topical issues and will capture feedback from attendees to support or recommend changes to the acquisitions processes.
