Chapter Focus | |
The Kaiserslautern Chapter engages at unit functions throughout the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) to spread the AFCEA message and increase value to our members and local science, technology, engineering and math programs. The KMC consists of Army units at Kleber, Panzer, and Daener Kaserne, Vogelweh, Landstuhl, Miesau, Pirmasens, Rhine Ordnance, Sembach and Pulaski Barracks, along with Air Force units located at Ramstein Air Base, Einsiedlerhof, and Kapaun Air Station. The Chapter holds monthly luncheons, awards, scholarships, undertakes Young AFCEAN community projects, an annual golf tournament, a Winter and Summer Tech Expo, senior leadership breakfasts, a KMC All-communicators Sports Day, a Cycle 4 STEM, Cyber Patriot and robotics mentorship, Raspberry Pi competition, and a Ramstein Schools Science Fair. In 2019, we will start working with SkillsUSA. | |
