|This Chapter services Keesler Air Force Base (AFB) and the Greater Biloxi-Gulfport City Area. Keesler AFB consists of the 81st Training Wing, providing electronics, computer and weather training to over 30,000 Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and international students.
Keesler is also home to the Air Force Reserve Command's 403d Wing, who's C-130J "Hurricane Hunters" and "Flying Jennies" are world famous; and to the 85th Engineering Installation Squadron who provide professional engineering and installation services of communications, electronics, and cyber equipment for Air Force and joint warfighters with pride, worldwide.
The Chapter partners with the 81st Training Wing units to host the annual "Information Dominance" award ceremony and distributes an annual "Gravely Grant" to a deserving local school program with a focus in the Science Technology Engineering and Math field. Additionally, we endeavor to partner with local businesses and organizations on the Gulf Coast who have a vested interest in information technology, to share best practices and grow.
