Fort Belvoir is home to over 90 diverse tenant and satellite organizations from the Department of Defense, including Program Executive Office Enterprise Information System (PEO EIS),
US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Defense
Logistics Agency (DLA), Army Cyber Command, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC), Program Executive Office (PEO)Soldier, and many others.
AFCEA Belvoir serves as a bridge between government requirements and industry capabilities, representing the top government,
industry, and military professionals in the fields of nformation technology, communications, and intelligence. Since 1993, our chapter has focused on the Fort Belvoir Community and surrounding areas. Today, with over 300 members, we continue to provide great networking opportunities for business professionals with a core focus in Information Technology. The Chapter holds monthly luncheons and Small Business receptions
featuring key speakers from Fort Belvoir and beyond, and we have an active and growing Young AFCEAN community with focus on mentorship and giving back to the community.
AFCEA Belvoir donates approximately $60,000 annually in grants and scholarships to area schools and deserving college students,thanks to the support of our members and corporate partners. We are exceptionally proud to support the Fort
Belvoir Elementary School through a engineering and science lab that puts students at the forefront of technology in STEM areas. The chapter also provides science fair judges (and prizes) for the Prince William County Science Fair.
