| The Silicon Bayou Chapter is focused on the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, New Orleans, and the Marine Forces Headquarters, New Orleans, Stennis Space Center, MS, USDA- National Finance Center, New Orleans, USCG - 8th District, New Orleans, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, New Orleans, Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, New Orleans, in addition to local and regional industry.
The Chapter hosts bi-monthly luncheons during which we provide a speaker from the military, government or industry to address the group. Scholarships are awarded to students and teachers at one of these luncheons a year. The Chapter as adopted and supports a local school in STEM initiatives. The Chapter¿s annual golf tournament and Military/Government IT Day is its biggest fundraiser. |
