| The South Central Pennsylvania Chapter
primarily focuses on the following locations
and their tenant organizations: Mechanicsburg
Naval depot, Carlisle Army Barracks, US Army
War College, Letterkenny Army Depot,and Raven
Rock Mountain Complex.
As a small chapter, our activities are being
established and will continue to grow as the
chapter grows. We will hold seven luncheons
our first year and then expand to eight
luncheons in the following years. Luncheons
will be held on the second Friday of the month
in which they occur and are scheduled to
rotate
between Carlisle/Mechanicsburg area and
Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
We will hold an annual golf tournament in
September at a local south central
Pennsylvania
golf course as well as an annual bowling
tournament in March. Our chapter will also
support the development of our country's
future
science and technology leaders. Each year we
will provide scholarships to local graduating
high school seniors and college students that
have demonstrated an interest in information
technology, communications and engineering.
In
support of our military, we intend to support
local Fisher Houses and/or other localized
programs that support our military and
veterans. |
