Diana Orozco has served as director of business development at BreakPoint Labs since 2021, leading business development, strategic growth and partnerships that advance cybersecurity and national security missions. She has demonstrated exceptional commitment to strengthening AFCEA’s Alamo Chapter through leadership, governance, innovation and service. While maintaining her responsibilities as chapter treasurer, she stepped forward to serve concurrently as interim president of the Alamo AFCEA Education Foundation, providing continuity during a period of transition and subsequently helping establish the Education Foundation Committee to strengthen its governance and long-term sustainability.

As treasurer, Orozco led the development and implementation of enhanced financial policies and controls designed to improve the chapter’s financial health, transparency, accountability and governance.

She also initiated efforts to establish an ad hoc committee to independently review and assess the overall health of the chapter, helping identify opportunities to strengthen organizational practices and position the Alamo Chapter for continued success. Recognizing opportunities to modernize operations, she introduced two new technologies to improve chapter efficiency, including an online voting system that increased accessibility and streamlined chapter elections.

Beyond her formal leadership responsibilities, Orozco has worked to strengthen programming, collaboration and engagement across the broader AFCEA community at both the chapter and international levels for more than six years. As part of the AFCEA International Small Business Committee, she supports programming and connects local initiatives with AFCEA’s broader mission and the small business community. She serves on the committees for the Alamo Chapter, Alamo AFCEA Education Foundation and Wounded Warriors and Military Families (W2MF), promoting greater visibility, coordination and a more unified vision across the organizations.

Equally important to her service, Orozco continues to mentor and engage students and emerging cybersecurity leaders, helping connect the next generation with educational, professional development and leadership opportunities. Through these efforts, she has helped bring together chapter operations, education, industry, small business and community engagement, strengthening the Alamo Chapter’s impact while helping develop the leaders who will carry its mission forward.
