From the Desk of the Associate Publisher and Chief Knowledge Officer, September 2024
What an active year 2023-2024 has been for AFCEA International’s committees. The leaders and subject matter experts who comprise committee rosters contributed in a number of ways to AFCEA’s mission—from helping to shape the content and panel makeup of AFCEA events to writing impactful white papers and articles for SIGNAL Media, participating in our branded AFCEA Solutions webinars, which repurpose their written content to showcase the thought leadership in a virtual format, and welcoming in new committee members after reviewing candidate submissions.
As a membership-based association, AFCEA is rooted in providing value to its members and the communities we serve. One way to meet that mission is via our committees: groups of volunteers from the public and private sectors who help set AFCEA’s outreach and ensure open lines of communication between the government, academia and industry.
As we close this fiscal year (FY), we look back to glean key insights that help shape what FY 2025 will look like. Stay tuned as we announce new committee members for a number of committees, including the technology and the small business committees, which accepted applications this summer.
