Food and Drug Administration Awards Contract for Information Technology and Data Management Services
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has awarded a 10-year, $2.5 billion contract to 10 companies. The contract is an Information and Computing Technologies for the 21st Century contract and will support an extensive information technology modernization program for the FDA, including data management and warehousing and information technology and security. The contractors are CSC, Electronic Data Systems, General Dynamics Information Technology, Interactive Technology Solutions, Unisys Corporation, Buccaneer Computer Systems and Services, Dynanet, Human Touch Information Systems, IDL-Pragmatics and Telesis.
