Goldbelt Hawk to Provide Information Technology to Kandahar Air Field
Goldbelt Hawk LLC, Newport News, Virginia, was awarded a $9,990,048 firm-fixed-price contract a maintenance hole distribution system, Internet protocol routers, and combined enterprise regional information exchange secret backbone fiber optic cables. Work will be performed in Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 30, 2012. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.
