U.S. Army Procures Intercept Equipment for Afghanistan

Special Operations Technology Incorporated, Annapolis Junction, Maryland, was awarded a more than $79 million contract modification to install, operate, and maintain the lawful intercept equipment and support equipment at various locations around Afghanistan. Work will be performed in Afghanistan, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 3, 2013. The U.S. Army Space and Missile Command, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
