As the Department of Defense (DOD) aggressively pursues cloud modernization, its focus has shifted from enterprise-level capabilities (JWCC) to mission-critical advancements at the tactical edge and software delivery layer. The DOD and Intelligence Community (IC) are collecting rapidly increasing amounts of data from around the world and processing that data is creating significant demands on critical infrastructure. Leveraging hybrid computing from JWCC to the edge will give warfighters the decision-superiority edge they need.
