On 23 November 2009, an Atlas V rocket from the United Launch Alliance successfully launched the Intelsat 14 satellite (IS-14). Liftoff of the Atlas V occurred at 1:55 a.m. ET. The satellite separated successfully two hours later. Great launch!

I am obsessed with the Internet Movie Database, also known as IMDb. I probably visit the site at least once a day. My favorite thing to do is look up quotes from and trivia about my favorite movies and TV shows, like The Office. With the free IMDb app for iPhones and iPod Touch, fans like me can get their trivia fix any time.

The DHS has instituted a new job application process for cybersecurity positions. The good news? It's free of KSAs. Right now the agency is hosting a virtual job fair for those interested. Applicants no longer have to worry about KSAs or a points system; they simply submit cover letters and résumés, which are reviewed by hiring managers. DHS officials will then contact candidates of interest to invite them to a private interview event.

My apologies to those few of you who expected to see a MAZ-INT blog entry for November, however, the AFCEA Webpage does not seemed to be overwhelmed with inquiries about the missing blog, the IC seems to be functioning despite missing a month of my advice, and unemployment has started to drop since my last blog. Perhaps I should take more months off!
