NASA has named Thomas Zurbuchen associate administrator for the Science Mission Directorate at the agency’s Washington headquarters.

Rear Adm. Robert T. Durand, USN, will be assigned as vice chief of information, Washington, D.C.

Rear Adm. Scott D. Jones, USN, will be assigned as deputy commander, Naval Air Force, Norfolk, Virginia.

Maj. Gen. Timothy G. Fay, USAF, has been assigned as director, Operations, Strategic Deterrence, and Nuclear Integration, Headquarters U.S.

Maj. Gen. John K. McMullen, USAF, has been assigned as vice commander, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.
