Northrop to Support Integrated Base Defense in U.S. and Iraq
Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems, Herndon, Virginia, was awarded a more than $7 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, which is an extension to continue services for the Integrated Base Defense System of Systems support and sustainment effort. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama; Balad, Iraq; Fort Irwin, California; Fort Polk, Louisiana, and Dominguez Hills, California, with an estimated completion date of October 31, 2011. The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Redstone, Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
