Missile Defense Agency Awards Five Small Business Contracts
The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) recently announced the competitive award of five contracts for advisory and assistance services to five small businesses. Each contract has a ceiling of about $861 million. The five companies are: COLSA Corporation, Engineering Research and Consulting Incorporated, and Torch Technologies, all three of Hunstville, Alabama; Millennium Engineering and Integration Company, Arlington, Virginia; and DCS Corporation, Alexandria, Virginia. These companies will provide advisory and assistance services to the MDA Directorates for Engineering, Test, Advanced Technology, and Information Management and Technology Operations. The contractors will assist these directorates in providing engineering, technical analysis and support, scientific, systems engineering, test planning, and test execution activities in support of the Ballistic Missile Defense System. The companies will have the opportunity to bid on each individual task order.
